Welcome to the 2022 Growing Season! We’re back at the Old Capitol Farmers Market!

Choice Roots Farm is back the Downtown Springfield Old Capitol Farmers Market on Saturdays – and occasional Wednesdays – from May to October 2022. Read more about the Market at www.DowntownSpringfield.org.

We have a variety of produce throughout the season – lots of greens, tomatoes, melons, root crops, and herbs. Every week brings new produce – if you would like to know what Kyle DeWeese is bringing to the next Market day, you can email him at . You can also ask him to “hold” an item for you so it is still available when you get to the next market.

We are also selling CBD hemp and CBD hemp products from hemp that was grown by Kyle and his business partners at Choice Roots Farm as part of his CBD hemp company, Sangamon Valley Hemp Products. Learn more at SangamonHemp.com

The 2018 Old Capitol Farmers Market starts Wednesday, May 16!

Choice Roots Farm will return to the Old Capitol Farmers Market in Downtown Springfield on May 16, 2018! Come visit us on Wednesday and Saturday mornings and check out Farmer Kyle DeWeese’s delicious produce! Choice Roots’ booth is located on Adams, between 3rd & 4th street. The Market will take place Wednesdays and Saturdays, 8:00 a.m. – 12:30 p.m., until Saturday, October 27.

Choice Roots offers a variety of root vegetables and leafy greens, along other heirloom vegetables and fruits, throughout the growing season. If you would like to know what produce Kyle currently has, and what he has planned for later in the season, contact him at .

We will also have a selection of non-edible plants, including our gorgeous bouquets of wildflowers & teddy bear sunflowers (seasonal), and a small selection of Aloe Vera plants and other interesting house plants (throughout the market season).

The new Springfield Winter Farmers Market takes place on the 4th Saturdays from January-April, 2017 at Third Presbyterian Church.
