Choice Roots Farm is back the Downtown Springfield Old Capitol Farmers Market on Saturdays – and occasional Wednesdays – from May to October 2023. Read more about the Market at www.DowntownSpringfield.org.

We have a variety of produce throughout the season – lots of greens, tomatoes, melons, root crops, and herbs. Every week brings new produce – if you would like to know what Kyle DeWeese is bringing to the next Market day, you can email him at . You can also ask him to “hold” an item for you so it is still available when you get to the next market.

We are also selling CBD hemp and CBD hemp products from hemp that was grown by Kyle. Learn more at SangamonHemp.com

The Holiday & Winter Farmers Market took place each third Saturday of the month from November – April, at the new venue, historic Springfield Union Station. The former train station provided a dedicated sheltered outdoor and heated indoor space for the winter season and dedicated parking for our customers! Read more here…

There is plenty of variety throughout the market – we provide plenty of greens, tomatoes, root crops. We are starting a beehive this year – we are very excited about that. Look out for some melon varieties mid to late-Summer.

The 2018 Old Capitol Farmers Market starts Wednesday, May 16!

Choice Roots Farm will return to the Old Capitol Farmers Market in Downtown Springfield on May 16, 2018! Come visit us on Wednesday and Saturday mornings and check out Farmer Kyle DeWeese’s delicious produce! Choice Roots’ booth is located on Adams, between 3rd & 4th street. The Market will take place Wednesdays and Saturdays, 8:00 a.m. – 12:30 p.m., until Saturday, October 27.

Choice Roots offers a variety of root vegetables and leafy greens, along other heirloom vegetables and fruits, throughout the growing season. If you would like to know what produce Kyle currently has, and what he has planned for later in the season, contact him at .

We will also have a selection of non-edible plants, including our gorgeous bouquets of wildflowers & teddy bear sunflowers (seasonal), and a small selection of Aloe Vera plants and other interesting house plants (throughout the market season).

Choice Roots’ booth will also have Diana DeWeese’s beautiful photo notecards, featuring her photography from her travels both near and far, and other items she has created.

Kyle is hard at work planting for the 2018 season. If you would like to get regular produce this year, then join Choice Roots’ CSA today! Membership is limited, so sign up soon!

Download our 2018 Community Supported Agriculture (CSA) Membership Form, and then return it to Choice Roots farm — either via email at — or send it via regular mail — address here.

Choose between a Summer Season ($150.00) or a Full Season ($250.00) membership. Pay via either check or cash.

Signups are closed for the 2018 Season.
